Will it make my hair straight?

Not necessarily! Smoothing treatments are great for controlling frizz and can soften your waves or curls, but the result depends on your natural texture and the treatment we choose.

Some clients want to keep their waves with less frizz, while others want a sleeker finish. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping for before getting started.

Which treatment should I book?

You don’t have to figure that out on your own. I’ll look at your hair’s texture, condition, and color history, then recommend the best option. We’ll also talk about how you normally wear your hair and how much smoothing you want.

What about damage?

Your hair’s health always comes first. I check its condition before every treatment and follow the product’s instructions, adjusting the heat where appropriate for your hair.

A smoothing treatment can make your hair look and feel better, but it won’t repair existing damage. If your hair is too fragile for the service, I’ll be honest with you and recommend what it needs first.

How long does it last?

Results can last up to three months, depending on the treatment, your hair, and how you care for it. Frequent washing, swimming, and salt water can affect how long your results last.

How do I take care of it?

I’ll walk you through everything before you leave, including when you can wash your hair and which products to use at home. Each treatment has its own aftercare, so you’ll get instructions for the one we choose.
